anCnoc Distilled 2000
Single Malt - Scotland - 46.00% 8 Sweet like confectioner's custard. MacDonald's ice cream Sunday with raspberry sauce.
Auchentoshan American Oak
Single Malt - Scotland - 40.00% 8 Is this a sweet Blanc du Blanc?
Ballechin Single Malt 10 Years Old
Single Malt - Scotland - 46.00% 8 A big ploughing workhouse. Not a showjumper prancing about but a direct beast that does a job.
Single Malt - Scotland - 46.30% 7 This could do with much longer in the cask before being let out into the world. Makes me hope bottle-aging exists.
Colkegan Single Malt Whiskey
Single Malt - U.S.A. - 46.00% 9 Like walking into a French pâtisserie in a small rural Gascony village.
Compass Box Whisky Great Kind Street
Blended - Scotland - 43.00% 7 This is a pick'n'mix whisky, a bit rancio on the finish but there are some sweet moments if you look for them.
Cutty Sark 33 Years Old Art Deco
Blended - Scotland - 41.70% 9 Rum baba in a glass, a stand out whisky in this flight
Glen Moray Elgin Classic Port Cask Finish
Single Malt - Scotland - 40.00% 8 Three seasons in a pine forest in a glass. A really attractive whisky which is unctuous and juicy. Well done.

Grand Traverse Distillery Ole George Straight Rye Whiskey
Rye - U.S.A. - 46.50% 7 Could be used as a cocktail ingredient. Like it has been matured in Swedish Sauna Pine Wood.
Label 5 Blended Scotch Whisky Gold Heritage
Blended - Scotland - 40.00% 8 This is afternoon tea. Not quite at the poshest restaurant in town, but the one next door. Slightly cheaper, no waiting time but equally as good.
Old Pulteney Navigator
Single Malt - Scotland - 46.00% 8 Almost like a ginger wine, this would make a great rusty nail.
Smögen Svensk Single Malt Primör
Single Malt - Sweden - 63.70% 7 A velvet tracksuit. Not a three piece suit. Smooth and silky.

Single Malt - Scotland - 54.30% 7 This one is not really to my taste.
Stagg Jr. Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Bourbon - U.S.A. - 0.00% 8 The perfect Old Fashioned whiskey? Na, just give me this one neat and a dime for the juke box in the corner.
The Glenlivet Nàdurra Oloroso
Single Malt - Scotland - 60.70% 8 Like a beautiful and entertaining tapestry. A work of art.

Bourbon - U.S.A. - 46.50% 8 Upfront, in your face and hard to dislike. If Dolly Parton was a whisky – it's this!
Four Roses Limited Edition Small Batch 2014 Release
Bourbon - U.S.A. - 60.00% 8 A complex weave, this takes water and time to unravel.
Glendronach Tawny Port Finish
