Capturing The Perfect Scene
We launch our annual photographic competition with the chance to win some dazzling prizes from Bowmore single malt Scotch whisky
It is time to spruce up your photographic skills again as Whisky Magazine has teamed up with Bowmore Islay single malt whisky once more to bring you some excellent prizes and to offer inspiration to get you snapping away for the third annual Whisky Magazine Photographic Challenge.
The previous winner, Janne Vuorinen captured one of the great icons of the Highland at the Mull of Oa on Islay. Now it is your chance to be inspired to capture that perfect moment. It does not have to be a distillery, casks or bottle; it can be a scene or something abstract that sums up whisky for you.
If you believe you have some exceptional whisky photographs, then this is your chance to excel as well as win yourself a trip to the beautiful island of Islay!
Renowned Scottish landscape photographer Colin Prior is heading up the judging panel – he believes a Bowmore 15 Years Old is a great companion for taking the perfect photograph!
Winners will be published in Whisky Magazine and the overall winner will receive a four night break for two at one of the Bowmore Cottages on Islay as well as an in-depth distillery tour, a bottle of single malt, and a signed limited edition print by Colin Prior.
The 2nd place winner will receive a Colin Prior limited edition signed print as well as a fine bottle of single malt.
