Whisky Live Glasgow will be held for the second time on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th September, 2005.
And this year's event will not only be more ambitious than last year, but will embrace other aspects of Scottish culture beyond just whisky.
Held in the impressive St. George's square in the centre of Glasgow, the event will provide visitors the opportunity to experience all aspects of great Scotch whisky. Expert advice will be on hand from the producers, independent bottlers and brand ambassadors. These industry representatives will help newcomers learn about the whisky basics or if you are an experienced drinker, help you to expand your whisky knowledge.
Whisky Live Glasgow is intended to provide the ultimate whisky experience with varied tastings available, as well the whisky experience areas, masterclasses, live music, regular nose-off competitions and delicious Scottish food.
The Whisky Experience areas are the education and entertainment zones, with themed areas providing sensory experiences such as coopering, food demonstrations, cocktails and more. With a dram always on hand the Whisky Experience seeks to educate and entertain those who want to learn a little more about the diversity of Scotland's greatest export.
With live music, on site retailing and food from Scotland, Whisky Live Glasgow looks to bring the world of whisky to the heart of his home nation.
And why not extend your visit to Whisky Live Glasgow with a trip to the great whisky regions of Scotland...
