We report from the latest event in the Whisky Live family.
Hundreds of people flocked to one of India's top hotels recently to sample some of the best whiskies the world has to offer.
Held at the Leela Kempinski in Delhi, the inaugural Whisky Live India event appealed to the enthusiast and the aficionado, with expert advice on hand and the opportunity to even learn about the whisky basics, and was intended to provide the ultimate whisky experience.
Whisky Live India gave consumers the unique opportunity to sample great whiskies, while mingling with the producers and distillers, marketers and visitor centre staff, all under one roof. In addition to learning about the world of whisky, guests had the opportunity to sample rare and sought after whiskies and meet the stars of the industry.
With great food, master classes and much more, Whisky Live India was a great evening out and a memorable experience.
As well as sampling some of the very fine whiskies on offer, visitors got the chance to be taken through various whisky ranges by the experts in masterclasses.
Also on hand at the show were a couple of companies offering top class travel and destinations to the whisky lover, these included an introduction to the Whisky Retreat, at the Devigarh Fort in Rajasthan, and whisky destinations in USA, Ireland, Scotland, New Zealand and Europe for the connoisseurs, offered by Paradiso.
Food was also a big part of the event,with plenty of mixing whisky with chocolate during the evening, and there was also some great music to accompany the sam...
