Karen from Whisky Live Festival suggested I get hold of you as you may be able to help. I have a bottle of White Heather Deluxe 15 Years Old Scotch Whisky in a square decanter type bottle, it's unopened and the seal is unbroken. I was wondering if you'd give me an idea of what it's worth?
B. Jack, London Your White Heather Deluxe 15 Years Old Blended Scotch Whisky Decanter produced in the 1970s would fetch at auction £50 to £70 if in its original box and good condition.
I wonder if you could help me with any information concerning an enamel sign I have. It measures 14 x 10 inches has blue background with white lettering with a sketch of a Highland man in the left corner stating Real Scotch. Advertising Loch Corrie A Happy Blend of Old Malt Whisky. Marshall & Elvy Ltd. London & Glasgow. The sign was produced by Hancock & Corfield Ltd. who still make promotional merchandise for the drinks and tobacco trades. I have been in touch with them and their records show the sign must have been produced before 1918 as they changed their name in that year, and they have no records of The Loch Corry brand or Marshall & Elvy Ltd.
Do you have any information for me on these companies?
