Indie Brands to Take Over Distribution of Arran Whisky

Award winning Scotch whisky producer, Isle of Arran Distillers, is switching UK distribution to Indie Brands from the beginning of August.

Following a record year for the distillery, Arran is moving distribution to the ambitious new business with the brief to build the UK distribution.

Indie Brands, run by industry heavyweights Chris Bowen and Douglas Cunningham, will be tasked with developing the brand in both the on-trade and off-trade markets.

Specialising in the supply and distribution of luxury spirits, Indie Brands is the perfect fit for Arran's high quality single malts.

Commenting on the new partnership, Euan Mitchell, Managing Director of Isle of Arran Distillers, said: "Indie Brands is a new business that is looking to make progress. They share our ambitions for the Arran Malt and backed by Chris and Douglas they are a great fit for our business. This is an exciting development for Arran."

Douglas Cunningham, Managing Director of Indie Brands, said: I'm delighted that Arran Whisky have entrusted us to help build the success of their brand. The quality of the spirit is outstanding, the international reputation and credentials established, and so there is very considerable potential. We are excited to get started."
