LOUISVILLE, KY, March 5, 2013—Down One Bourbon Bar <> is starting a new tradition of hosting intimate dinners with a Master Distiller. The first of such features Maker’s Mark Master Distiller Greg Davis. The gourmet dinner, held in the private, speakeasy room, includes three courses and canapé, with drinks paired to each course. The menu includes bacon-wrapped, gorgonzola stuffed dates, roasted beef brisket, and a bourbon ball milkshake with cookies.

The Master Distiller Dinner is Friday, March 15th at 7 p.m. Tickets are $45 per person and include three drinks. Seating is limited. For reservations, call 502-566-3258.

Down One Bourbon Bar, located at 321 West Main Street in Louisville, Kentucky, is the newest edition to Louisville’s expanding Bourbon Row. Opening in February 2013, it features a world-class bourbon collection that totals close to 100 different bourbons, as well as local craft beers, specialty cocktails and distinctive wines by the glass.

Down One Bourbon Bar also features a food menu that mixes and layers locally-sourced ingredients and flavors in an extraordinary way. The atmosphere provides a mix of old and new, with a beautifully crafted wooden bar and historic stained-glass windows.

Located at Third Street and Main Street in Downtown Louisville, Down One Bourbon Bar is a great option for lunch, dinner or after work drinks, as well as before and after events at the KFC Yum! Center, which is located next door. Down One Bourbon Bar is partnered with 321deli and 2 Dips & a Shake ice cream shop, both of which are set to open in mid-March.
