Make Poverty History

Charity group Make Poverty History has thanked Whisky Magazine readers for helping to raise £5000 for Action Aid last year. The money, raised through a sponsored walk during the Speyside Festival, is now being used to provide fresh water in Afghanistan and to train teachers in Somaliland. Two decanters of special Speyside whisky are currently being auctioned to raise more funds.
