St. George’s Distillery

England’s first and only Whisky Distillery are looking for a
Distiller and a Visitor Centre Manager.

The English Whisky Company have built a new, traditional malt whisky distillery on the banks of the River Thet at East Harling; the complex includes a visitor centre, tasting area, and shop. Iain Henderson has already started distillation.

Distillery Operator
Job Description:
The successful applicant will be in charge of operating England’s 1st and only whisky distillery. This is a hands on position with responsibility for making whisky and the associated excise paperwork.
Requirements:
Applicants will have previous experience in the distilling or brewing industry, including boiler and fork lift operation and have a love of whisky. The job is physically demanding and therefore good health, and physical fitness are essential. The successful applicant will have a clean driving licence and have no criminal record.
Salary by negotiation.
The successful applicant will be required to live in a new 3 bed. house on site

Visitor Centre Manager
Job Description
The successful applicant will be responsible for operating all aspects of the visitor centre at the Distillery.
Requirements:
The successful applicant will need to have previous experience in managing a tourism led business and be proficient with Microsoft Office and EPOS. Applicants must have a driving licence.
Salary by negotiation
