Limited Edition Whisky PrintsCapture the essence of whisky in your homeWhisky Magazine has scoured the whisky producing world to find an artist who best captures the mood ofthe dram.We have known Ian Gray,of international renown, for many years and asked him to produce a series of limited edition prints exclusively for Whisky Magazine readers. Ardbeg (New)Its was always a pleasure for me to visit Ardbeg on the Isle of Islay, even more so since it reopened 10 years ago. This semi abstract painting is the embossed A on the Ardbeg bottle, it reminded me of how the distillery nestles in a sheltered cove on Islay surounded by the lush green of the wild Islay botanic.
George Washington (New)DISCUS, the American Distilling Council, invited me to go on the American Whisky Trail recently. At that time the founding stone was laid and the rebuilding of the distillery that burnt down began. It reopened last year, a working replica of how Washington would have distilled 200 years ago. Set in Mount Vernon a short distance from his residence, it was a magical step back in time, inspirational and a great starting point for the American Whisky Trail.
JD No 5“Going to Jack Daniel distillery and painting the No 5 still was an incredible experience. My trip through the American Whiskey Trail and America’s distilling history is something I will never forget and whenever I see a bottle of Jack Daniel’s it takes me back to Still No 5, the spirt safe and the years gone by since Jack Daniel started distilling.”
Bowmore“I have always enjoyed painting Bowmore, not only because of the spectacular setting on the shores of Loch Indaal or the fact that it’s one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland, but also for the magic of the great characters that produce this wonderful dram; from past to present they all have left their mark and still do.”
What does Limited Edition mean?We have produced ONLY 250 numbered prints from each painting, each hand signed by the artist, ensuring your print is both unique and personal. The Bowmore print measures 390mm high x 565mm wide and the Jack Daniel’s print measures 390mm high x 480mm wide and they will be delivered rolled in a tube to your door.
