- Nose
- Ginger and plum pudding dusted with five spice. Fleshy red apples and banana bread with golden sultanas. Water relaxed the grippy rye and opened orange peel and maple syrup.
- Palate
- Hot, perfumed and polished wood. A curious hint of fermenting beer and rising sourdough bread with cinnamon. Rich oak with gentle glycerine
and beeswax.
- Finish
- Sizzling twig, then waxy, fruity and sweet.
- Comment
- A slight disconnect between nose and palate but give it time.

- Nose
- Fresh pine sap, polished oak, burnt coconut and a hint of vanilla, coupled
with lashings of caramel sauce.
- Palate
- Very spirity, with a wash of slightly dry oak, a little caramel and a hint of dried fruit.
- Finish
- Short with a hint of drying oak.
- Comment
- Not a great deal to go on here, I'm afraid. It feels rushed and unbalanced.
