Nose
Intense, oaky. Fresh oak with a touch of varnish. Opens on a floral note. Marshmallow. In the back butterscotch and a hint of barley sugar.
Palate
Sweet and gently flowing on the tongue. More malty flavours than expected. A refreshing mint note.
Finish
Gentle, slightly drying on an oak note. Almond skin aftertaste.
Comment
The palate is more appealing than the nose. A pleasant dram, leaving a fresh feeling. Better neat than diluted.

Nose
Earthy, oaky, forest floor with a damp wood, dunnage warehouse note. There is a little youth on show here too. Some demerara sugar and a creamy edge.
Palate
Simple and clean, a little floral sweetness. Then malt loaf develops with some sharp green fruits and clotted cream.
Finish
Warm and fruity with the oak coming through.
Comment
Fairly complex and engaging.
