Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Roses, candyfloss, slightly buttery. Palate Perfect balance of sherry and the malty, spicy, house character. The two elements are tightly combined, with the spicy flavours emerging slowly: nutmeg, aniseed and emphatic orange-flower. Finish Liquorice toffee. Mint. Comment Complex and sophisticated.

Doug McIvor Nose Beautifully mellow, sherryish, grassy with a little marzipan and mint toffee. Palate Enveloping, creamy and nutty with a teasing sherry and gentle peaty twist. Peppermint prickle. Finish Long, soothing, with a minty and spicy end. Comment A biggish-bodied Aberlour which helps to lengthen the complex effects of the double maturation.
