Lovely bourbon notes make their mark as the soft oaky character charms the daylights out of you. Some minty, nutty notes add a secondary layer of interest.
Palate
Deep-textured and estery with excellent spices.
Finish
Long and mouthwatering to a fault, with rich barley.
Comment
The texture and estery nature is a shock: all rather un-Aberlour-ish. Not as spicy as the usual aged malt from this distillery, but a gem nonetheless.
