- Toffee. Cedar. Slight peat.
- Palate
- Rich. Cream toffee. Fudge.
- Finish
- Typical Macallan 'Calvados' and flowering currant.
- Comment
- I prefer my Macallan with its typical sherry character.

- Musty and sulphur-sour. Heavy sherry but not particularly of the clean kind.

- Good bittersweet balance. The sherry side doesn't gel though.

- A late arrival of something orangey.
