Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Roses. Floral. Creamy. Palate Creamy, soft. Treacle tart. Flapjack. Fruity. (cherries?). Slightly spicy (ginger?). Finish Lemony. Lively. Comment Linkwood always evokes thoughts of sweetmeats, sometimes delicate, on other occasions more robust. This is in the latter mood: down-to-earth sweetness.

Dave Broom Nose Straw/gold. Once water has been added, a fragrant aroma emerges-freesia, cherry, iced gems, rose petals, pears in syrup behind. Palate Round, silky mouthfeel. The high alcohol propels it across the palate with fragrant floral flavours, light oak and sweet fruit all playing off each other. Finish Syrupy and sweet. Comment Tremendous stuff-with lots of water
