- Roses. Floral. Creamy.
- Palate
- Creamy, soft. Treacle tart. Flapjack. Fruity. (cherries?). Slightly spicy (ginger?).
- Finish
- Lemony. Lively.
- Comment
- Linkwood always evokes thoughts of sweetmeats, sometimes delicate, on other occasions more robust. This is in the latter mood: down-to-earth sweetness.

- Straw/gold. Once water has been added, a fragrant aroma emerges-freesia, cherry, iced gems, rose petals, pears in syrup behind.

- Round, silky mouthfeel. The high alcohol propels it across the palate with fragrant floral flavours, light oak and sweet fruit all playing off each other.

- Syrupy and sweet.
