Michael Jackson

Nose
Lightly grassy dryness. Burnt grass.
Palate
Light but textured. Grassy. Burnt grass. Fruity.
Finish
Lively, spicy, dry. Bitter.
Comment
Lacks the rich smokiness of Connemara.

Doug McIvor

Nose
Sultry, sultanas, smoke and brine. Some Cognac characters and even a whiff of tandoori food.
Palate
Smoky, viscous sweet pears, salty and peppery with a malty body.
Finish
Sherry shadowing the salty and peaty, warming aftermath.
Comment
Intriguing combination of flavours. Sweet meets peat.
