- Nose
- Classically malty and fat on the nose but with an exceptional fresh fruit richness. Quite lovely.
- Palate
- Gloriously oily and malty. Fabulously clean malt interspersed with gentle spice and vanilla.
- Finish
- Long and simple. Little complexity but an attractive malt glow lingers, helped by the rich oils.
- Comment
- Better than either of the standard bottlings and true to the style which has made this the island's most popular dram.
