Nose
Very light for this distillery. Sweetness and pepper. Seaweed. Palate
Oily, lightly malty, sweetish. Finish
Light pepper. Comment
A curiously insipid bottling.
Jim Murray
Nose
Slightly astringent and lower peated than one might expect. Remains fresh, but a little green and a tad feinty. Palate
Big and cumbersome on the palate with most extraordinary malty, gristy sweetness. Quite brawny. Finish
Long and oily with some drier, almost bitter almond notes. Comment
About as subtle as a Peckinpah film and about as violent on the palate, too. Monster stuff.
