- Nose
- Flowery. Very herbal. Bay leaves. Fragrant.
- Palate
- Peppercorns, but also some creamy sweetness. Parsley.
- Finish
- More parsley, and very peppery.
- Comment
- Seems to have faded slightly with age.

- Nose
- A rich tapestry of subtle but confident peat and oak interwoven with a sexy malty sweetness.
- Palate
- The peat rises early to state the dram's style. A fine iodiney stratum manages to stay the course, offering a peaty pulse as sweeter malt notes arrive.
- Finish
- Quite long with echoes of peat and roast Columbian coffee but a very well controlled vanilla.
- Comment
- A malt lacking in complexity perhaps but certainly not in class.
