- Nose
- Almonds, passion fruit.
- Palate
- Quite full in body and palate. Firm, dry, malt background. Toasty. Very spicy.
- Finish
- Long. A very late crescendo. Warming.
- Comment
- It is more substantial than people think, as this bottling shows.

- Nose
- A little strained, honey-suckle sweetness.
- Palate
- Immediate bittersweet complexity.
- Finish
- Getting seriously old, but the oak remains the right side of delicious.
- Comment
- Don't look for a big array of flavours: just variations on a theme, and most of them quite lovely.
