- Hazelnuts. The skin of the nut. Papery. Toasty.
- Palate
- Smooth as polished oak. Treacle-toffee. Walnuts.
- Finish
- Sappy. Slightly sour.
- Comment
- Enough character and complexity to withstand the heavy oakiness, but beginning to show its age.

- Treacle and molasses, almost fungal. Nut bowl, leather and bitter chocolate, even cold tea.
