Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Rich heavy sherry. Butter. Rum. Moist fruit cake. Palate Chewy. Mint toffee. Treacle toffee. Finish A small explosion of spiciness. Ginger, allspice. Hot, dry. Very long. Comment The best Brackla I have tasted. Night-cap?

Dave Broom Nose Rich, sweet wood-derived aromas of coconut flesh, cumin, Old English marmalade. Palate Immediate woodiness at the side of the mouth. There’s a lovely rose petal/raspberry coulis fragrance and massive spiciness. Finish Soft then a bit woody. Comment Big and aromatic. There’s bags of oaky character and not a lot of the distillery’s. One to sip and ponder over.
