- Nose
- Rich heavy sherry. Butter. Rum. Moist fruit cake.
- Palate
- Chewy. Mint toffee. Treacle toffee.
- Finish
- A small explosion of spiciness. Ginger, allspice. Hot, dry. Very long.
- Comment
- The best Brackla I have tasted. Night-cap?

- Nose
- Rich, sweet wood-derived aromas of coconut flesh, cumin, Old English marmalade.
- Palate
- Immediate woodiness at the side of the mouth. There's a lovely rose petal/raspberry coulis fragrance and massive spiciness.
- Finish
- Soft then a bit woody.
- Comment
- Big and aromatic. There's bags of oaky character and not a lot of the distillery's. One to sip and ponder over.
