Nose
Peatier. Palate
Firmer. Green, oily, becoming dry and leafy. Finish
More assertive pepper and mustard. Comment
The most oily of the three, and very assertive in the finish.
Jim Murray
Nose
Wonderfully fresh and clean but not without character: grassy malt and crushed pine nuts. Mouth-wateringly beautiful. Palate
Drier on the palate, the vanilla bites early but is still unable to dampen that succulent grassiness. Finish
Finely balanced but frying with oaky-cocoa notes. Very long finale. Comment
Impressive, smokeless and delicate for its age. A finely tuned malt.
