- Nose
- Fragrant, fruity and floral. Medlar, raisins, stewed rhubarb. A hint of rose syrup. Opens up on bakery notes (ginger biscuits, apple and vanilla flan) and lingers on heady vanilla notes.
- Palate
- Smooth and soft. But mid palate is flat and watery. Then a pleasant spicy fit of energy.
- Finish
- Sweet, with a nutty tang. Touch of mint.
- Comment
- Quite an appetising nose but mid palate is faint and watery. Too quick a dilution?

- Lightly oily: nut oil, mutton fat, vanilla. Ripe and soft, lightly spiced, coconut, peach and malt. Medium-bodied.
- Palate
- Decent balance. Juicy soft fruits, toasty oak, malt flour. The palate has a kick to it adding interest. Good.
- Finish
- Dry, short, refreshing.
- Comment
- Well made. A good session drink. Have it with ice.
