Nose
Interesting! Turmeric coated banana with hints of sweet toffee, greengage, gala melon, gooseberry, sage, green tea leaves, under-ripe rhubarb and herbal rye-like notes.
Palate
Surprisingly alcoholic with gooseberry, greengage, lime and kiwi. Very bitter, almost green tannins, herbal rye and burnt toast notes follow.
Finish
Mouth-watering, sharp and citric with menthol. Dilution makes it sugary and watery.
Comment
I had a feeling that this would do water particularly well and I was correct in that assumption.

Nose
Cream soda, hot buttered corn on the cob, with a hint of vanilla and heather honey. Water reveals pineapple skin.
Palate
Toasted sourdough bread, grapefruit juice and more of the hot buttered corn. Some light green herbs (basil, mint), increasingly juicy with time in the mouth; improves with water.
Finish
Lingering spices, that outer pineapple skin again, and whipped cream.
Comment
A very easy drinking whisky, once water is added. In summary, Summery.
