- Nose
- Interesting! Turmeric coated banana with hints of sweet toffee, greengage, gala melon, gooseberry, sage, green tea leaves, under-ripe rhubarb and herbal rye-like notes.
- Palate
- Surprisingly alcoholic with gooseberry, greengage, lime and kiwi. Very bitter, almost green tannins, herbal rye and burnt toast notes follow.
- Finish
- Mouth-watering, sharp and citric with menthol. Dilution makes it sugary and watery.
- Comment
- I had a feeling that this would do water particularly well and I was correct in that assumption.

- Nose
- Cream soda, hot buttered corn on the cob, with a hint of vanilla and heather honey. Water reveals pineapple skin.
- Palate
- Toasted sourdough bread, grapefruit juice and more of the hot buttered corn. Some light green herbs (basil, mint), increasingly juicy with time in the mouth; improves with water.
- Finish
- Lingering spices, that outer pineapple skin again, and whipped cream.
- Comment
- A very easy drinking whisky, once water is added. In summary, Summery.
