77- Nose
- Light, dry. Slight burnt grass. Then lemongrass and mint.
- Palate
- Lightly syrupy. Herbal, minty, rummy.
- Finish
- Hint of cloves. Warming. Soothing. Very long.
- Comment
- A pale, shimmery gold dram with flavours one expects from a bigger, darker, whisky. Slightly odd, but enjoyable. Could be a flavoured spirit from a little-known, newly independent republic in Central Asia.

- Fragrant and soft with lemon sherbet, crisp apple/apple blossom. Long and soft.
- Palate
- Soft with creamy notes. The fragrant spirit and the (apple) wood in superb balance. Attractive and delightful.
- Finish
- Dry then syrup sponge pudding.
- Comment
- Lifted and aromatic. Who said malt whisky had to be all about smoke and bluster?
