Nose
Quite funky, with light sulphur/rubber to start. Touch of mashing cereal and then, in a positive way, enamel paint.
Palate
Quite dry on the sides, clinging in the centre. Changes mid-palate into apple but always with a slightly aggressive edge. Lightens with water allowing a toasted note to develop.
Finish
Bready.
Comment
Sadly unbalanced.

Nose
Malty and oaky. Vanilla toffee. Chestnut purée. Some sawdust. Medlars. Quite intense really.
Palate
Sweet at first then a firm oak grip brings in astringency. Hazelnut toffee. Coffee beans. Water makes it sherbety.
Finish
Dry, slightly prickly. Nutty aftertaste.
Comment
The nose is interesting, the palate is more oaky than the nose. I was expecting more balance.
