Shy at first, then this herbal maple syrup sweet note. Very honeyed, dark woodland honey. A lemon rind bite to it then a spice grip of cinnamon and apple peel with butterscotch.
Big and full bodied, creamy, oily and viscous. Custard tart and nutmeg spice, bread and butter pudding, plump raisins soaked in sherry. The oak grips with this spice explosion of cumin, all spice and cinnamon.
Long and spiced, full of honey and lemon, not unlike a good hot toddy. Then the spices grip with chilli warmth.
A graceful whisky all well balanced and integrated too.
