Nutty. Marzipan.
Palate
Very sweet. Develops some dried fruit. Nutty maltiness. A hint of lemon peel. Saffron.
Finish
Quick. Hot.
Comment
Where's the peat-smoke? Not very Islay.

Dave Broom

Nose
Hefty with toasty oak, sweet mandarin, orange blossom, oat, then piney notes. A substantial elegant nose.
Palate
Smooth and silky. The orange reappears with honey and cooked fruits. Concentrated and rich.
Finish
Long, silky.
Comment
A substantial drink with an all-enveloping charm.
