- Nose
- Driftwood bonfires on the beach, then home to a hot, steamy bath in coal-tar soap.
- Palate
- Syrupy, sensuous, tar-like.
- Finish
- Charcoal. Perfumy. Fresh. Therapeutic.
- Comment
- Real Ardbeg peatiness and smokiness.

- Nose
- Heavily oaked and richly sherried, salty heavy weight aromas. Prickly spice adds to the aroma.
- Palate
- Absolutely mind-blowing. The sweet peat is dense and chewy but also offers lighter smoky tones, too and eventually oak and iodine.
- Finish
- Sweet and toasty, some hickory and highly roasted coffee blends well with the massive peat.
- Comment
- The nose may be a little disappointing, but in all a glorious experience not to be missed.
