Woody. Logs in a wood yard.
Palate
Silky. Black chocolate. Brazil nuts. Hard toffee. Some orangey notes. Orange creams.
Finish
Spicy. Gingery.
Comment
An enjoyable after dinner malt, though not especially complex.

Rounded and fruity to start: baked apple, honey, peach stone. Water brings out a damp straw/hay note and more ‘foresty' aromas of nut, moss, fern and leaf.
Palate
The baked apple note is there along with a youthful spiciness. A sweet mid-palate and good balance.
Finish
A little short.
Comment
An extremely well-made, if young, spirit. One to watch.
