Arthur Motley
Nose
Marzipan, quince, apples, peach slices and the top of a crème brûlée.
Palate
Vanilla, apples, and chewy toasted oak.
Finish
A tinny bloodiness.
Comment
Lots of American Oak, and a super clean character. Nowt wrong, but not quite enough right.

Nose
Light. Wholemeal bread/dry grass/bran/Ryvita, with some fresh soft fruits behind (raspberry). Brown boot polish, freshly baked bread.
Palate
Light still, but with more fruit. Vanilla and caramelised fruits. Good silky, rounded, feel.
Finish
Smooth, liquorous.
Comment
A malty nose but balanced and quite sweet on the palate. A drinkable session dram.
