Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Dubbin. Linseed. Flowery Palate Pastry. Malty. Sweet. Butterscotch. Spicy. Straight-ahead. Uncomplicated. Finish Very Clean and crisp. Comment This seems to me the definitive light tasting (triple-distilled) Lowlander. In theory, such whiskies mature young, but this has aged beautifully.

Jim Murray Nose Gooseberries with delightfully fresh barley, a sprinkling of unrefined sugar and gentle oak. Palate A busy malt boasting an extraordinary degree of complexity for a lowlander. Finish Light and elegant with the fabulous malt lingering to the death. Comment A must for those in search of the best a distillery can offer. Distilled when the stills performed in perfect harmony.
