- Nose
- Dubbin. Linseed. Flowery
- Palate
- Pastry. Malty. Sweet. Butterscotch. Spicy. Straight-ahead. Uncomplicated.
- Finish
- Very clean and crisp.
- Comment
- This seems to me the definitive light tasting (triple-distilled) Lowlander. In theory, such whiskies mature young, but this has aged beautifully.

- Nose
- Gooseberries with delightfully fresh barley, a sprinkling of unrefined sugar and gentle oak.
- Palate
- A busy malt boasting an extraordinary degree of complexity for a lowlander.
- Finish
- Light and elegant with the fabulous malt lingering to the death.
- Comment
- A must for those in search of the best a distillery can offer. Distilled when the stills performed in perfect harmony.
