- Nose
- Delicate. Malty and nutty. Hazelnut toffee. Dried apples. Medlars. A sylvestry note. Like drying leaves and pine needles in autumn. Crème caramel. Quite enticing.
- Palate
- Surprisingly sweet at first. Followed by a spicy outburst. Teases the tongue
before releasing sweet fudge flavours.
- Finish
- Sweet then dry with a nutty aftertaste.
- Comment
- An interesting and invigorating autumn dram which needs water to cut the edges.

- Nose
- A little humidor note, leaf mulch and dried fruit. There is a creamy undertow
as well and some ripe soft fruit.
- Palate
- Honey sweet to start then the spices explode. Cinnamon, chocolate and raisins. Clotted cream and burnt sugar at the end.
- Finish
- Lush and sweet.
- Comment
- Another decent whisky from a distillery showing it holds interesting
stocks, what next I wonder...
