Nose
Scented. Night stocks, honeysuckle, baked apple with caramelised Demerara sugar. The light, savoury edge that comes with age. Water makes it slightly drier with hints of tropical fruit and, in time, wood oils.
Palate
Tongue-coating. A scented bower with peachy depths and some melon that shifts to BBQ pineapple. Elegant and refined.
Finish
Clean with a raspberry touch.
Comment
Elegance personified. A great mature complex dram.

Nose
Elegant, fragrant. Delicately spicy. Nutmeg, coriander. Raisins. Stewed rhubarb. Opening on luscious vanilla toffee notes. Hint of liquorice. Complex, rich without ostentation. Toffee.
Palate
Satin-like. A soft oily feel surprisingly followed by a crunchy crispiness. Elegant oak. .
Finish
Dry with a nutty aftertaste.
Comment
A well matured, balanced and complex. Water fades its colourful character though.
