Nose
Light sea-breeze. Touch of wet cardboard. Pine needle. Milk chocolate. Honey. Apricot jam. Cider apples. Develops on soft creamy aromas. Palate
Very sweet and smooth. Pears poached in spices. Marzipan. Caramelised apples. Finish
Spicy, weakening steadily. Toasted almonds. Nutty. Comment
An attractive character. Too much sweetness on the palate though.
Dave Broom
Nose
Gentle and rounded. New pigskin leather, dried flower. Moves into passion fruit, creamy toffee, ginger, ripe stone fruits and some light oak. Palate
Good concentration: crisp cereal then runny chocolate and hazelnut, spices yet sweet and very soft. Finish
Quite short, clean, spicy. Comment
Just a tiny splash of water is needed. A lovely drink.
