Tasting Notes

Dave Broom Nose Substantial with good maturity. Orange peel and ginger, drying grass, barley sugar, passion fruit, banana skin and a wholemeal maltiness. Palate Very silky with marzipan, sweet nut and dried tropical fruits, peach. Honeycomb, chocolate and mint. Multi-layered and surprisingly deep. Finish Immensely long. Trickles down the back of the throat. Comment A stunner.

Arthur Motley Nose Baked bananas, green apples and pear drops. An attractive and subtle meadow note. Custard. A little pencil shavings woodiness. Palate Sweet banana custard, toffee apple followed by drying spice. Finish Cinnamon. Comment Again, pleasant very pretty. A really good example of American oak maturation.
