- Nose
- Substantial with good maturity. Orange peel and ginger, drying grass, barley sugar, passion fruit, banana skin and a wholemeal maltiness.
- Palate
- Very silky with marzipan, sweet nut and dried tropical fruits, peach. Honeycomb, chocolate and mint. Multi-layered and surprisingly deep.
- Finish
- Immensely long. Trickles down the back of the throat.
- Comment
- A stunner.

- Nose
- Baked bananas, green apples and pear drops. An attractive and subtle meadow note. Custard. A little pencil shavings woodiness.
- Palate
- Sweet banana custard, toffee apple followed by drying spice.
- Finish
- Cinnamon.
- Comment
- Again, pleasant very pretty. A really good example of American oak maturation.
