- Nose
- Rich with positive mature notes and an oily quality to it.Honey, caramelised fruits and lightly herbal. In time there's a note that brings to mind the interior of an expensive car along with dried peach. Complex.
- Palate
- Creamy and soft with a gentle unfolding on the tongue.Highly complex and layered. Some light smokiness, oak shavings and with water a real silkiness develops.
- Finish
- Cinnamon and citrus zest.
- Comment
- The Balblair bandwagon continues.

- Nose
- Tangy. Slightly butyric. Sour milk. Reminds me of some old dry cider. A peppery hint.
- Palate
- Oak has the word. A faint sweet malty note swept by dry oak. Then soothing soft spices flavour puts the palate back.
in balance.Water makes the
texture mellower
- Finish
- Dry,.oaky with a touch of dry apricot.
- Comment
- Quite sour and grumpy at start with an overwhelming oaky character. A dash of water makes it more amiable.
