81- Nose
- Delicate and floral. Marshmallow, damp (freshly washed) linen, then kiwi fruit, sweet persimmon, subtle citrus and talcum powder.
- Palate
- Dare I say, whispering? Powdery with whipped cream, strawberry and white fruit. Doesn't particularly like water.
- Finish
- Fresh, lime.
- Comment
- A very subtle, and discreet Balblair but another addition to what has become a compelling range.

78- Nose
- Delicate. Floral and grassy. Rosebud. With a faint aerial smoky touch. Narcissus, lemon balm.
- Palate
- Sweet and syrupy. Pears in vanilla syrup. A grassy flavour as well.
- Finish
- Short but pleasant. Marzipan. Slightly dusty.
- Comment
- Quite a shy whisky but elegant and well knitted. Avoid water though.
