- Nose
- More gentle weight. Polished wood, furniture polish, scented. Meadow flowers. Discreet nuttiness, almost felt like, at the back. Sweet.
- Palate
- Red fruits, sweet grain, a light crunch of malt. Has whispering qualities. Softens with water allowing a jammy and Jaffa cake note to develop. Pear-shaped: narrow start and full broad finish.
- Finish
- Long and juicy.
- Comment
- In a clear line to Finest, but more bedded onto the tongue.
- Nose
- Deep notes of vanilla and caramel, very bourbon-esque. Warming butter with a little spiced citrus, fruit sugar.
- Palate
- Opens with bags of honey and fruit, balanced with barley sugar and more
citrus notes.
- Finish
- Warm and satisfying.
- Comment
- Highly drinkable and very enjoyable, just what a blend should be.
