- Nose
- More liquorous. Deep and sweet. Picks up the resinous notes of the 17yo and brings them to the fore alongside beeswax and much more rich layering: think dried topical fruits.
- Palate
- Languorous. Fruit syrups galore but it has retained freshness and a sweet lift. Chewy, long, ripe and full. Cigar ash and oak.
- Finish
- Very long and deeply fruited.
- Comment
- Very polished. Fascinating how while precision is retained the range shifts
from floral to deep.
- Nose
- The depth here is noticeable after the last two. Things have become more amplified, tropical trail mix, violin resin and old wardrobes.
- Palate
- Again has great depth, a little smoke comes through, but also has the zip of
its younger stablemates.
- Finish
- Keeps on going.
- Comment
- We certainly are in the deep end here, massive layers of flavour and
complexity abound.
