Nose
Tickly. Floral. Bergamot. Earl grey tea. Pear drop. Caramel. Develops on sour fruit (green apple, orange juice). An enticing perfumy display. Palate
Mellow, but a bit soft and watery on midpalate. Develops on hot spices (Tabasco). Finish
Dry and hot. Comment
Has an aromatic profile close to a rye whiskey. Quite charming. Too bad it has been emasculated by an excessive dilution. A handsome eunuch?
Dave Broom
Nose
Clean and quite aromatic: herbs, eucalyptus, green almond, white asparagus behind some sandalwood. High rye. Palate
Light, fresh and clean. A scented (furniture polish) quality to it. Turkish Delight. Slick and soft. Finish
Dry. Rye flour. Comment
Clean and fresh. Mid-morning.
