- Meaty,oak framed. Distinctive sherry influence. Roasted chicken. Dark plums,dates. Treacle.
A hint of liquorice.

- Round,smooth. Surprising sweetness. Dried fruit (sultanas,dates). Bitter chocolate.
- Finish
- Long,with a dry bitterness and spicy chocolate.
- Comment
- A well-balanced dram. Sherry signs it but not in an assertive way.

- Earthy, savoury, complex, with nutty and oak later.

- Long with oak and fruit notes.

- Like the new Ardmore,an acquired but complex taste worth working on.
