Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Lemony, flowery, honeyed, grassy, peaty.
Palate
Soft, smooth, malty. Lightly creamy. Some good Speyside fruity-flowery flavours.
Finish
Flowery dry.
Comment
Light but pleasant, with some delicacy and complexity.

Dave Broom

Nose
Light gold. Unreduced it shows fruit cake, heather and apricot. With water a strange fizzy quality appears. Sherbet dab, heather-honey and light smoke.
Palate
The fizziness continues on the palate. There are some sherry notes, but oak dominates.
Finish
Oaky and dry.
Comment
No great distinguishing features.
