- Rich antique bouquet. Exotic wood. Polished floor. Galanga. Creamy. Vanilla toffee. Orange and chocolate biscuit.
- Palate
- Smooth, syrupy. Raisins. Marmalade. Chocolate mousse. Wood never gives away.
- Finish
- Dries off on wood notes. Spicier as time goes.
- Comment
- Muscular. Welcome in a blizzard but don't expect Mozart when you are likely to get Wagner.

- Mature. Dry oak, wood oil, cedar, eucalypt, tobacco, chocolate, vanilla. Has weight behind: big, lush fruitiness, apricot, marzipan.
- Palate
- Soft fruits crisped up by oak. Well integrated flavours. Smooth and not as oaky as nose. Lightly honeyed, coconut.
- Finish
- Dry, bracken like, then toffee.
- Comment
- Long, elegant and soft.
