Tasting Notes

Martine Nouet Nose Rich antique bouquet. Exotic wood. Polished floor. Galanga. Creamy. Vanilla toffee. Orange and chocolate biscuit. Palate Smooth, syrupy. Raisins. Marmalade. Chocolate mousse. Wood never gives away. Finish Dries off on wood notes. Spicier as time goes. Comment Muscular. Welcome in a blizzard but don't expect Mozart when you are likely to get Wagner.

Dave Broom Nose Mature. Dry oak, wood oil, cedar, eucalypt, tobacco, chocolate, vanilla. Has weight behind: big, lush fruitiness, apricot, marzipan. Palate Soft fruits crisped up by oak. Well integrated flavours. Smooth and not as oaky as nose. Lightly honeyed, coconut. Finish Dry, bracken like, then toffee. Comment Long, elegant and soft.
