Tasting Notes

Dave Broom Nose Shows maturity, with a lifted estery quality. More perfumed and floral with water. Digestive biscuits and nutmeggy spiciness then clove. Palate Seamless and highly energetic. Layered fruits, dark chocolate and a dazzling array of spices that fly over the tongue. Finish Sparkling. Complex. Comment Another killer from Mr Walker’s warehouse. Distillery of the year for me.

Arthur Motley Nose Honeysuckle, gala melon and some sweet, oily terpentine notes. Vanilla-infused rice pudding, baked sweet gammon and powdered almonds. Palate Peaches in sweet syrup, orange, grass. Marzipan and sultana cookies, made with nutmeg. Finish Drying tannins that balance the earlier sweetness. Comment Proudly and confidently mature.
