- Nose
- Ashes, spent pine fire, lilac wood. Slightly sappy. Toffee, dried guava, but
the oak seems in charge.
- Palate
- Ripe and clean with some red fruits but a little dull with water as if the life has been sucked from it.
- Finish
- Dry.
- Comment
- Slightly over-active finishing cask has had a negative effect.

- Nose
- Light, sage and onion, doughy.
- Palate
- Intense and rich, with dark chocolate, black cherry and then deep plummy
red fruit before a wave of savoury.
- Finish
- Quite short, complex and rich.
- Comment
- The best of the three but nowhere near the best from this distillery.
