- Nose
- Creamy and sweet with a note of heavily charred wood before envelope glue, bamboo shoots and a big honeyed creamy note backed by stewed apple.
- Palate
- Zesty and vibrant with plenty of nuttiness. Medium dry. Tight with fresh spices moving forward.
- Finish
- Crisp and clean.
- Comment
- Triple distillation heightens the aromatics though can't really see the
oloroso influence.

- Nose
- Grassy, musty. Wet leaves, moss, damp fern. Develops on a tender vanilla note. Lemonade. Wafer biscuit. The earthy aromas slowly fade away. Pleasantly perfumy. With water, medlars.
- Palate
- Smooth, satin-like. Vanilla syrup. A hint of poached peach. Dries at mid-palate. Ground ginger. Touch of chilli.
- Finish
- Dry, warm. Spicy.
- Comment
- A clean spirit, drier and spicier than expected from the nose. A dash of
water gives it a better balance.
