80- Nose
- Gooseberries and smoke mixed with a wicker/bamboo basket filled with clean laundry. More smoke with water along with light date syrup.
- Palate
- Immediate smoke,countered with fruit syrups,sweet nuts. The smoke threads its way through all of this. Good integration.
- Finish
- Long and slightly smoked.
- Comment
- A constantly shifting but balanced mix of sweetness and smoke and distillery character.

- Big smoke but wrapped in sharp fruits and damp cotton,like a T-shirt you have worn near a bonfire,but the day after. Very delicate floral notes,but something bracken like lurking as well.
- Palate
- Smoke fills the mouth but this subsides and leaves a sweet soapy and nutty layer.
- Finish
- The smoke keeps on going.
- Comment
- The rum seems to add fruit and a nuttiness to this great dram.
